Nothing in this world is pure
Many may try to prove this statement wrong or even find a cure
But that's the point of it
Purity is something that survives for only a little bit
I really want to know how long it remains white
Until a drop of black stains it, no more bright
Emotions are the only thing that is pure and untainted
And there's nothing to alter this priority we're granted
If there's one emotion I want to be true
It's love between me and you
This may be the only thing that I can do
So I'll prove it and show it without the mushy goo
Love is something a girl like me truly cherishes
So forgive me for dreaming and making silly wishes
I treat emotions with a lot of respect
Because they are true to the soul, they don't put on an act
Sure we may behave in ways that is untrue to our feelings
But sometimes it's just to help us keep our bearings
A single snowflake represents the purity of the sky
But once it touches us, it melts, it begins to cry
It's shows how tainted we are
To the point we can't hold something so beautiful with hands so bare
It's hurting to know and to face the truth
But it's something many prefer to object to the proof
Love used to be the only thing kept clean and untouchable
But now it's a use for others to please themselves in the world
Unadulterated love is hard to come by
When it does, it's hard to relax and say goodbye
When the fucking time comes...
I'm gonna fuck it off from my life...
